Location/inventory assistant manager

When you think of us, you immediately think of our stores. But behind a retail organization there is of course also a head office and distribution center with a wide range of interesting and challenging functions.

What are you going to do?

We have a distribution center of approximately 40,000 m² from which all stores are supplied and the fulfillment of the webshop also takes place. As a goods management employee, your main task is to manage (administratively and physically) the stock and picking locations. In this position you will be managed by the goods management team leader.
 
The most important tasks include: 
  • Location management and analytics;
  • Inventory of stocks and picking locations;
  • Identification of deficiencies and their repair;
  • Carrying out checks in the context of quality;
  • Communicate with various departments about managing inventories and picking locations;
  • Identifying and solving problems that logistics employees encounter;
  • Drawing up reports.
The work is performed while sitting, alternating with physical work in the distribution center.
 
Working hours:
The work takes place in two shifts:
 
5:30 AM - 2:30 PM
2:30 PM - 11:30 PM
According to the schedule, we work alternately on Sundays.

Who are you?

A training course at MBO level in the field of logistics supplemented with: 
  • You can communicate well in the Dutch and English language;
  • You have insight into logistics processes;
  • You preferably have at least 1 year of relevant work experience (inventory management);
  • You are solution-oriented, analytical and have a flexible attitude;
  • You have good computer skills, especially Excel. Experience with Locus is an advantage
  • You live in the vicinity of our distribution center.
